WHO IS
LISA JEFFERSON?

     Get ready to meet the incredible Lisa Jefferson, a true Houston native with an unwavering passion for her city!  She graduated from Klein Forest High School and later studied criminal justice at Prairie View A&M.  With over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and an impressive 13 years in the Justice of the Peace sector, Lisa has worked alongside nine Judges across four Harris County Justice of the Peace Courts.  She has worked with numerous litigation attorneys, including both criminal and civil defense attorneys, as well as Harris County prosecutors.  

     Beginning her career as a Court Clerk in June 2012, she steadily advanced through various roles, ultimately achieving the position of Chief Clerk of a JP Court.  Her diverse experience and deep understanding of courtroom procedures make her a valuable asset in the legal community. Driven by her dedication to Harris County, Lisa is ready for her next chapter and is excited to run for Judge in her Precinct! With her vast knowledge and commitment, she is prepared to serve the constituents of Precinct 5 with fairness and respect while upholding the law and the ethical standards of Texas Justice Courts.   Her love for the community and passion for helping others fuel her determination to lead with integrity, patience, and compassion for all who seek justice!
