​I’m Lisa Jefferson, proud daughter of a Christian minister, native Houstonian with a lifelong commitment to serving my community.  A graduate of Klein Forest High School, I went on to study Criminal Justice at Prairie View A&M University, laying a strong foundation for the career path that would shape my passion for public service.  With more than 13 years of Harris County, Justice of the Peace experience and my knowledge of the law, makes me the perfect candidate for the position I’m eager to fill.  I’ve dedicated my professional life to supporting the people of Harris County.  Working alongside nine Judges across five Harris County Justice of the Peace Courts allowed me to gain invaluable insight into fair judicial practices and the day to day needs of the community.  When you are Judge, you are the face of the public for your constituents and with that comes professionalism, fairness, and ensuring the safety to everyone and equality to all who seek justice.
